Robert Terry Bond, 65, of Laurel passed away on Nov. 5, 2023. He was born in Brookhaven in 1958 to Billy “Buzz” Bond and Janelle Benefield Bond.
He graduated from RH Watkins High School in 1976 before going to work in the oil field service industry. He was employed at Cased Hole Well Services in Laurel.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen; sons Miles (Apryl) Bond of Petal and Josh (Kelley) Stevens of Overland Park, Kan.; daughter Monica Stevens of New Orleans; grandchildren Harris, Molly and Jace Stevens; and soon-to-be-big-brother Linkoln Bond.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Billy Barden Bond and Frances Janelle Bond; and brother Billy Joe Bond.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with the funeral service to begin at 10 a.m. and a graveside service will follow at Lake Park Hills Cemetery. Pastor Chris Klingenfus will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brian Parker, Tyler Pineda, Derek Reid, Ryan Reid and Cody Whatley.Honorary pallbearers will be Mike McBride and Jeff Reid.
